Since its inception in 1997, the AZ Gallery has been dedicated to providing its members with opportunities for exhibiting their artwork to the public. AZ Gallery is a non-profit organization that is operated by the members and provides a rich environment for personal growth and ongoing artistic support. We welcome artists living and working in the Twin Cities to apply for membership.

Located on the ground level in the Northern Warehouse building in Lowertown St. Paul, AZ Gallery has great visibility and street access. Lowertown is considered a leading center for the arts and has long had the largest concentration of working artists of any city in the Midwest. This large and growing community continues to have a major influence on the quality of life in the neighborhood and adds significantly to its cultural and artistic richness.

Send the completed membership application along with a sampling of your artwork (printed photos, slides or a CD containing JPEG images – no larger than 3MB in size each) to the following address:

If you have a resume, bio, or artist statement please include in the packet.
- AZ Gallery and its members will review your application and artwork.
- AZ Gallery will contact you within 30 days of receipt of your application.
- If your application has been accepted, AZ Gallery will invite you to an interview. The interview may be with an individual board member or a selection of gallery members. Be prepared to bring original artworks to the interview and answer questions posed by members pertaining to your background, about your artwork, and why you would like to become a member of AZ Gallery.
- AZ Gallery will then send notification within 14 days of the interview if you have been accepted for membership. Upon acceptance of membership, you will be required to make a payment based on our payment options and sign our standard membership agreement.
