Artist Bio

“I’m a mom, yogi, and photographer living in Roseville, Minnesota. I’ve been involved in artistic endeavors since my earliest memories. Photography was a childhood hobby that my parents patiently indulged along with many other arts and crafts. If it could be made with my hands, I gave it a try…  and sometimes actually finished a piece! With regard to my art, I still consider myself in an experimental phase and I imagine this will never change.  It’s as it should be.

I like to make images of whatever is around me, whether I’m in my own backyard or a city far away. I especially enjoy the process of digital development to enhance or completely change the aesthetics of an image, as well as printing and mounting my photos on alternate materials such as canvas, metallic paper, vellum, wood and glass lamps.

My photography has been shown in both juried and member shows such as NEMAA, IFP Center for Media Arts, the AZ Gallery, the Grainbelt Bottling House, and The Black Dog Coffee & Wine Bar. I’ve also participated in Art-A-Whirl, the Saint Paul Art Crawl, and the Minnesota Women’s Art Festival. My photos have been published in Minnesota Monthly magazine.  I’m honored to be a member of this gallery and would love for you to stop by and say hi!”
